front porch :: done
I am an idiot.
I realized about half way into painting my front door that I didn’t take a before picture. Guess I’ll never make it big on TLC.
You’ll just have to picture my front door as a dismal forest green. Darker than that, even.
Now it looks like this:
If I were really serious about these home improvement endeavors, I’d probably remove the sidewalk chalk and the toddler in a diaper holding an iPhone from the photos, but I just can’t be bothered.
I’m irrationally excited about the color of the door. We live in the ‘burbs and always felt that the outside of our house gave no indication of who lived inside. Now, at least the front door is US.
Screw you, earth tones.

I think it might be time for me to start a life list. Actually thinking about it and making the list didn’t really appeal to me until I realized it doesn’t have to be something that I SIT DOWN AND DO. It can be something that comes together as I go, and every time I realize that I’ve got another thing to add, I’ll add it.
So here’s my start.
