chemical-free sunscreen for babes
I hadn’t ever given much thought to sunscreen because let’s face it, who gives a rat’s ass? You buy it and put it on when you go the beach. Turns out, like so many things in life, there’s more to it. Some of the chemicals used are potentially harmful and some don’t even work all that well.
I have three of the most common chemical-free sunscreens and my favorite so far is the Badger SPF 30 Mineral Sunscreen. Yes, it’s greasier than your regular chemical-laden sunscreen and can be harder to rub in but it kicks ass compared to the others (the Burt’s Bees is by far the worst). While you’re laboring away rubbing in this sunscreen you can have one of those awesome “wow, this is more difficult but it’s better for my kid” moments that we all love.
